How to Create a Full House Tour with Your Phone and GoPro MAX

Use GoPro MAX or MAX2 with the GoPro Quik app, then upload the exported 360 photos through the Houses360 Android app. No desktop is required for the basic field workflow.

Practical Houses360 guide Written for real estate workflows, mobile viewing, and shareable property tours.

The easiest GoPro MAX workflow

The simplest no-desktop workflow is to capture full 360 photos with GoPro MAX or MAX2, use the GoPro Quik app to save the full 360 images to your phone, then upload those images as scenes in Houses360.

Avoid exporting a reframed flat image for your tour scenes. Houses360 needs the full panoramic 360 photo so buyers can look around the room.

What to bring

  • GoPro MAX or MAX2 with a charged battery.
  • A compatible microSD card with enough room for the property.
  • Your Android phone with GoPro Quik and Houses360 installed.
  • A small tripod or monopod.
  • Enough mobile data or Wi-Fi for uploading after capture.

Capture the house

  1. Connect in GoPro Quik Open GoPro Quik, connect to the camera, and confirm you are capturing 360 photos, not only regular HERO-style flat photos.
  2. Set the camera in the room Place the camera near the center of the space and keep the height consistent from room to room.
  3. Step out of view Use app control or a timer so you are not standing in the room. Watch mirrors and windows.
  4. Capture one useful scene Take one clear 360 photo for each important room or area.
  5. Review before moving on Check for blur, dark corners, clutter, or accidental reflections before leaving the property.

Save/export to your phone, then upload

After capture, use GoPro Quik to save or export the full 360 photo to your phone gallery. If the image appears as a normal cropped photo, export again using the full 360 version.

Open Houses360, create the tour, upload the exported photos, then name scenes with buyer-friendly labels like Entry, Living Room, Kitchen, Primary Bedroom, and Back Patio.
