The easiest Ricoh Theta workflow
Ricoh Theta cameras are well suited to simple room-by-room real estate tours because they capture a full spherical image in one shot. Use the Ricoh Theta or RICOH360 app to capture and transfer images to your phone, then upload those images to Houses360.
The key is to make sure the full 360 image reaches your phone gallery or file picker. If it is only visible inside the Ricoh app, export or save it to the phone before opening Houses360.
Before you capture
- Charge the Ricoh Theta camera and your phone.
- Confirm the Ricoh app can connect to the camera.
- Use a tripod or monopod so the camera stays level.
- Clean both lenses before the first room.
- Clear clutter and turn on room lights before capture.
Capture and transfer
- Connect the camera Open the Ricoh Theta or RICOH360 app and connect to the camera.
- Place the camera Put the camera near the center of each important room, away from mirrors and close furniture.
- Take the photo remotely Step out of the room or hide from view, then trigger the photo from the app.

Build the Houses360 tour
Open the Houses360 Android app, create the property tour, upload the Ricoh Theta photos, then name and order the rooms. Keep labels simple: Front Exterior, Entry, Living Room, Kitchen, Bedroom 2, Bathroom, Backyard.
Preview the tour on your phone before publishing. Remove weak scenes, reorder confusing rooms, and confirm the public link opens correctly.
