The easiest DJI Osmo 360 workflow
Use DJI Mimo to connect to Osmo 360, capture each room, and download or export the 360 photos to your smartphone. Then open Houses360 and upload the exported images as scenes.
DJI also makes other Osmo cameras that are not 360 cameras. For Houses360 interactive room scenes, use DJI Osmo 360 or another camera/export that produces a full 360 panoramic photo.
What to prepare
- DJI Osmo 360 with charged battery and available storage.
- DJI Mimo app installed on your phone.
- Houses360 Android app installed and logged in.
- Tripod or monopod for stable room capture.
- A simple shot list for the home.
Capture and download
- Connect in DJI Mimo Open DJI Mimo, connect to Osmo 360, and confirm the camera is ready to capture 360 photos.
- Capture one room at a time Set the camera in the room, step out of view, and take a full 360 photo.
- Review image quality Check brightness, level, reflections, and room clarity before moving on.
- Download/export to phone Use DJI Mimo to download or export the photo to your smartphone storage or gallery.
- Keep the full 360 version Avoid cropped or reframed exports when the image will be used as a Houses360 scene.
Upload to Houses360
Create a tour in the Houses360 Android app, choose the Osmo 360 photos from your phone, and wait for upload processing. Once the scenes appear, rename and reorder them so buyers can move through the home naturally.
Preview the tour on the same phone before sharing. If a scene looks flat, missing, or low quality, return to DJI Mimo and confirm you exported the full 360 photo.
DJI Osmo 360 troubleshooting
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Houses360 cannot find the photo | Download/export it from DJI Mimo to your phone storage first. |
| Scene looks like a flat photo | Use the full 360 photo export, not a reframed image. |
| Export quality looks low | Check DJI Mimo export/download settings and keep the highest practical still-photo version available on your phone. |
| Upload fails on mobile data | Try fewer images at once or switch to stronger Wi-Fi. |
